Integral Summer Retreat - August 25–30, 2026

How to live an integral life in the 21st century with grounded spirituality?

Our answer: the Integral Lifestyle

Integral Life is actually a new culture of health and spiritual consciousness, which is gaining ground in Hungary as well. We practice this holistic lifestyle again this summer at the Integral Retreat, which is a living workshop of the integral lifestyle, led by Hungary's leading integral expert, Bence Gánti.

Join Bence Gánti, integral psychologist, for a 6-day summer retreat in Hungary—an immersive journey into integral transformation. Become part of a warm and inspiring community, where the richness of Hungarian culture adds a unique layer of kindness and connection, deepening your experience in unexpected ways.

Bence Gánti, Retreat Leader

Bence Gánti is a clinical psychologist with an integral approach, focusing on the later stages of adult development and spiritual transformation. He has been working with individuals and groups for over 26 years and is the founder and leader of the Hungarian Integral Academy and the Integral European Conference.

He considers practice to be the key to personal transformation. The deepest transformative space he offers is found in these 6-day Integral retreats, where he guides participants into higher and deeper collective states and transformative experiences that cannot be accessed through lectures or shorter, day-long sessions. The retreat also serves as a training in integral living.

Bence offers two of these retreats annually—one in the summer and one in the winter. Although he is a regular guest teacher in Europe, the Americas, and Africa, he offers the full 6-day retreat only in Hungary, where the local culture and people add a unique dimension of healing and transformation.

We warmly invite you to come and experience this. Often, stepping outside our own country and culture and seeking transformation in a different environment can significantly deepen the process.

SPECIAL GUIDELINES FOR COUPLES, PARTNERS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS

Integral retreats are intensive, experiential group processes with a strong therapeutic focus. They are designed primarily for individuals who want to work on themselves independently. For this reason, couples, partners, and family members are considered special cases and may only participate if they genuinely respect the guidelines below. Some pairs—such as partners, spouses, or relatives (e.g., mother–daughter, father–son)—may be looking for a shared experience that combines relaxation with personal growth. However, these retreats go much deeper than that. In some cases, one person may feel ready for the process and encourage the other to join, even if the other is not truly ready. Pushing someone into this kind of experience, even with good intentions, can become a form of psychological pressure—and this dynamic is often visible from the very beginning.

To protect both the individuals involved and the group as a whole, we can only accept couples, partners, and close relatives under the following conditions:

1) Both individuals must choose to attend of their own free will.

No one should pressure, persuade, or bring the other along against their genuine wishes.

2) Each person must register separately.

Both participants need to complete their own registration using their own email address. No one may fill out the form on behalf of the other—even for reasons like convenience or saving time. This is an important part of the process.

3) Both participants must clearly indicate in their registration that they are attending with a partner or relative, including their name.

They are expected to be open about their relationship with the organizers, facilitators, and the group from the outset.

4) Couples and relatives must stay in separate rooms.

They cannot share accommodation. Participants will be assigned to separate rooms, typically grouped by gender.

5) During exercises, they should work with other participants—not with each other.

A core element of the retreat is engaging in exercises and building connections with a variety of people. While occasional pairing may happen, the primary focus should be on working with others.

6) Both participants must genuinely commit to these conditions.

If it becomes clear that either person has not been honest or is not respecting these guidelines, both may be asked to leave the retreat.
